Since its beginning in 1997, America Recycles Day has encouraged Americans to reduce their waste by reusing and recycling. At GHS, we make sure to do our part to keep our planet green, and we have shown our commitment by joining the Maryland Green Registry. Whenever we remove or replace working fixtures from your home, we make sure they become part of the circular economy. We may donate them to a local thrift store or offer them for free on Craigslist. We also participate in the other side of the circular economy, by purchasing all our vehicles used. Join us by reducing, reusing, and recycling in your life. Learn more from Keep America Beautiful.

After a journey through academia (St. John’s College and the University of St Andrews), I now work for my family’s home repair business. I work hard to balance this with my real full-time job: having a physical disability.
