COVID-19 Update 19
Anne Arundel is now at a high level of COVID-19 risk, according to CDC guidelines. At indoor jobs, our employees will wear masks and open doors and windows to improve ventilation. We also ask you to wear masks when you are in the same room as our employees.
COVID-19 Update 18
Not much has changed since our last update, but you can rest assured that we are still being cautious and keeping our eyes open. As a reminder, all of our employees are fully vaccinated for your safety. If you are fully vaccinated, we only ask you to cancel your appointment if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, although we are happy to take further precautions at your request. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, we are still following our protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, and ventilating the work area.
COVID-19 Update 17
As the Delta variant is surging in the U.S., GHS continues to monitor local statistics. For now, our COVID policies remain unchanged. All of our employees are fully vaccinated for your safety. If you are fully vaccinated, we only ask you to cancel your appointment if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19, although we are happy to take further precautions at your request. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, we are still following our protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, and ventilating the work area.
COVID-19 Update 16
GHS is happy to announce that all of our employees will be fully vaccinated as of June 6. Therefore, in accordance with the new CDC guidance, we are relaxing our protocols for vaccinated clients. If you are fully vaccinated, we only ask you to cancel your appointment if you are showing symptoms of COVID-19. If you are not yet fully vaccinated, we are still following our protocols of wearing masks, social distancing, and ventilating the work area.
COVID-19 Update 15
GHS is happy to share that all of our employees have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and have scheduled their second dose. We will continue to strictly follow all recommended precautions (masking, social distancing, etc.), but we are very glad that our shots will allow us to serve you much more safely.
COVID-19 Update 14
COVID-19 statistics are continuing to decrease in both Maryland and Anne Arundel. Based on these encouraging metrics, GHS will reopen for limited indoor work under very strict protocols. Please review our current guidelines, which include protocols on masks, hand washing, and social distancing. With these policies in place, we look forward to safely taking on your indoor or outdoor job. Contact us to set up your free virtual estimate!
COVID-19 Update 13
Signs are hopeful that the pandemic is slowing down. Maryland’s statistics continue to trend in the right direction. For now, GHS is continuing our outdoor-only policy under our current guidelines. However, we are closely monitoring the situation, and we hope that in the next week or two, we will be able to start taking a limited number of indoor jobs with very strict protocols, giving priority to clients on our waitlist.
COVID-19 Update 12
GHS is continuing our outdoor-only policy under our current guidelines. You can still contact us to be put on our waitlist for indoor work, and we will give you priority when we reopen again. Please be assured that we continue to closely monitor state and county statistics. We are hopeful that the vaccine rollout will allow us to return to limited indoor work in mid to late February, but that will depend on statistics at that time.
COVID-19 Update 11
Today, Maryland’s COVID-19 positivity rate went above 5%. Therefore, following WHO guidelines, GHS is no longer taking on new indoor jobs. We are open only for outdoor jobs and jobs in entirely vacant buildings, and for these jobs, we will continue to follow our previous guidelines. You can still contact us to be put on our waitlist for indoor work, and we will give you priority when we reopen again.
COVID-19 Update 10
As cases continue to rise, GHS is continuing to take all standard precautions of hand washing, social distancing, and wearing masks. At each job site, we are putting up plastic sheets and opening any windows or doors in the work area to make sure it is properly ventilated.
Due to increased risk from travel and family gatherings, we are planning to close the week after Thanksgiving and the week after Christmas.
