As we get into flu season, we want to reiterate that GHS is continuing to follow all our COVID-19 guidelines. We ask that you also remain vigilant and continue to follow our guidelines for our clients.

This week, both the State of Maryland and Anne Arundel County have moved into Phase 2 of their reopening plans, allowing many more non-essential businesses to reopen. However, Gregg Home Services has decided not to make any changes to our current policy.

This is just a brief update to confirm that we are continuing to follow our previously outlined policies. We have no new news to share at this time, but we are continuing to monitor and reevaluate the situation each week.

Although Governor Hogan has started the process of reopening the state of Maryland, GHS has decided to err on the side of caution and follow the county’s lead. Therefore we are not making any changes to the policy outlined in our last post.

After our weekly review this morning, we have decided to start slowly taking on a limited number of outdoor jobs. We will evaluate all job requests on a case by case basis, and we will maintain a waitlist for jobs that we are currently unable to take on.

Over the past month, GHS has continued to monitor the state of affairs surrounding Covid-19. We are following the spirit of the law and have restricted our non-essential activities to the point that we are not currently taking on any new jobs.

This morning, Governor Hogan ordered all non-essential businesses to close. As a building maintenance company, Gregg Home Services is considered an essential business and so we will be staying open for the time being. However, to honor the spirit of the law, we have started taking further precautions to protect our clients and our employees.

Following Governor Hogan’s guidelines regarding COVID-19, GHS will be taking extra precautions to prevent the spread of disease. Please join us in following the golden rule and doing what we can to keep each other healthy.
